YONKERS, NY (September 2017) – Simone Development Companies, developer of the Boyce Thompson Center in northwest Yonkers, has announced a new round of lease transactions for retail space at the 85,000-square-foot mixed-use center.
Starbucks Coffee has signed a lease for 2,049 square feet of space on the plaza level in the south wing of the center’s historic 1086 North Broadway building. Starbucks plans a grand opening of the new location in January 2018.
“The addition of Starbucks, one of the world’s most successful companies, is going to further enhance and animate the Boyce Thompson Center as a destination point for area businesses and the general public,” said Joanna Simone, Vice President of Leasing and Property Management Operations for Simone Development Companies, who represented Simone in the lease transaction. “We are very proud to have this iconic brand on our tenant roster,” she added. David Scotto and Robin Herko of RM Friedland represented the landlord and Tim McNamara of Sullivan Hayes Companies represented Starbucks.
